India's factory growth slows to 2.7% in April; mining slips, consumer demand mixed

India's industrial production growth eased to 2.7% year-on-year in April, down from 3.9% in March, according to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) on Wednesday.
